(Note that while some regions charge regional dues in addition to JASNA’s annual membership dues, paying regional dues alone does not constitute membership in JASNA.)

By law, Canadians who wish to join JASNA must pay their dues in Canada, in Canadian funds. Our membership year runs from September 1st to August 31st. Members joining during the summer months are registered for the following year but will receive summer mailings, including the registration package for the Annual General Meeting, usually held in October.


Currently, annual membership dues are:

Students $18*

Individual $30

Family $45**

Sustaining $60

Life Member $500

Family Life $700

*(for full-time students only please)
**(for two members living in the same household; each is a full member, but they receive one copy of the newsletters and Persuasions.)


To join JASNA (Canada), please print and complete the Membership Form and send it, with a cheque in Canadian funds payable to JASNA, to:

Please note that JASNA's Membership Secretaries are volunteers. A New Member Welcome Packet is usually mailed four to six weeks after receipt of the membership form and dues cheque.
